Target: graduate students in any Earth Science and related disciplines

Summer Institute on Atmospheric, Biospheric, and Hydrospheric Sciences

Target: undergraduate students majoring in all areas of the physical sciences to research opportunities in the atmospheric, biospheric, hydrospheric, and solar and space plasma sciences, both theoretical and experimental.

Deadline: February 13, 2009.

2008/9 UMBC Graduate Student Fellowships

Target: graduate students registered at UMBC in the Departments of Physics, Geography, Computer Science and Electrical Engineering, Marine-Estuarine-Environmental Sciences, or Mathematics and Statistics.

Deadline: September 28, 2008.

Self-Directed Internships

Target: students of any level who wish to work with a specific Goddard mentor may arrange for an internship in consultation with their mentor; such internships may be undertaken at any time of year.
