About GEST Research Groups

Because there are 138 faculty scientists, staff and students in GEST, subdivisions are necessary to ensure the flow of information between management and researchers, and between the researchers themselves. To foster collaboration within and between disciplines, research groups have been created, aligned with Goddard Space Flight Center's research areas. Each group has a faculty mentor who provides advice and guidance to new employees in those areas.

You can see a graphic depiction of this division by reviewing the GEST and JCET Organization Chart (112 Kb PDF).
