Heliophysics and Solar System Divisions
The Heliophysics Science Division (HSD, Code 670) provides scientific leadership and expertise necessary to achieve NASA’s strategic science goals in solar physics, heliospheric physics, geospace physics and space weather. The Solar System Exploration Division (Code 690) plans, organizes, evaluates, and implements a broad program of scientific research, both theoretical and experimental, to explore the solar system and to study the formation and evolution of planetary systems.
